Portable Series/Reports

CareTracker has the ability send or download series and reports from resourcesystem.com or from one facility to another.  This will allow creation of an on-line catalog of report/series sets that clients can download.

Series Export/Import

Note: When you export a series, it will also include any/all follow-up questions and their associated series.

To Export a Series

  1. User must have a security setting that allows series export or import.
  2. Log into the kiosk, and from the Administration page choose Change Category/Series/Questions.
  3. Find the series you want to export.
  4. Click the "gears" on the series button.
  5. Choose export series, then choose Save from the File Download window.
  6. Save the series file in a folder that will be easily found when needed for import.

To Import a Series from the CareTracker Management Software

  1. From the CareTracker main window, double-click Import Series/Report.
  2. From the Import Series/Report window, under Common Tasks, choose "Import from Resourcesystem.com" or "Import from my computer."
  3. Browse for and double-click the report file to be imported.
  4. Click the Import Series and Reports button.
  5. The new series will be imported to the kiosk under the Imported Series category.
  6. To move the imported series to another category, from the Imported series category screen, click the "gears" on the series that was just imported. Make a selection from the Category drop down list to move the imported series to the desired category on the kiosk.

To Import a Series from the Kiosk

  1. User must have a security setting that allows series export or import.
  2. Log into the kiosk, and from the Administration page choose Change Category/Series/Questions.
  3. Choose the category of Import Series.
  4. Choose Import Series (upper right corner of Series screen).
  5. Browse for and double-click on the file name of the series you are importing.
  6. Click the Upload! button.
  7. From the Imported series category screen click the "gears" on the series that was just imported.
  8. Make a selection from the Category drop down list to move the imported series to the desired category on the kiosk.

Report Export/Import

To Export a Report

  1. User must have a security setting that allows report export or import.
  2. From the Report window, double click the report you wish to export.
  3. Under Common Tasks, choose Export This Report.
  4. Click Save from the File Download window.
  5. Choose an appropriate folder to save exported reports to, then click Save.

To Import a Report

  1. User must have a security setting that allows report export or import.
  2. From the CareTracker main window, double-click Import Series/Report.
  3. From the Import Series/Report window, under Common Tasks, choose "Import from Resourcesystem.com" or "Import from my computer."
  4. Browse for and double-click the report file to be imported.
  5. Click the Import Series and Reports button.
  6. To move the report to a different report group, under Common Tasks, click Edit this Report.
  7. Select the desired report group from the Group Name drop down list.  The report will be moved to the selected report group.
