MDS Intelligence Quality Analysis

The Quality reporting is divided into groups of reports to match the specific logic for each category. MDSI-Metrics-MDSI Outcome Reporting -CMS SS/LS-CMS SNF QRP

Each group will have specific filter options and reports. Custom reports are available in MDSI-Metrics and CMS SS/LS.

Filters – Each TAB will have specific filtering criteria available for the Quality reports listed in each area. Choose from the following options when available.

• Assessments – choose to include all assessments, only OBRA, or only PPS assessments

• Time – choose to have report span 30 days, 90 days or 180 days

• Most Recent MDS (ARD) – this date reflects the ARD of the most recent MDS submitted to MDS Intelligence

*Note: The From and the To dates must not be more than 180 days apart, and the Comparison End Date must be earlier than the Most Recent MDS (ARD) Date.

• Comparison End Date – this field is automatically populated with an end date based on the filters already selected:

• If you chose a 30-day report with Most Recent MDS of 11/1/2016, then the comparison report end date would be 30 days prior to November 1.
• If you chose a 90-day report with Most Recent MDS of 11/1/2016, then the comparison report end date would be 90 days prior to November 1.
